Provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence within the clinical/care areas of responsibility for residents, relatives and staff, providing help, advice and support at all times. Support, supervise and advise nursing team leaders to ensure that care delivery meets all residents' identified needs.
The clinical lead adopts a ‘hands on’ approach, working with and taking responsibility for the
nursing and care assistant teams and applying the highest standards of modern and
professional practice. He or she ensures that the home’s policies and procedures are followed,
in accordance with relevant legislation, to meet residents’ needs in a person-centred way
